Review: Lush Inhale Exhale Bath Bomb

Hi everyone,

Lush recently launched their Mother's Day collection. The collection has a mixture of bath bombs, bubble bars and cutely packaged gift boxes. I really wanted to get the Mum gift box but my sister convinced me not to. I picked up a few goodies from the collection. I'm really excited to try The Mum Re-usable Bubble Bar because it smells like Honey, I washed the kids and that scent smells yuuuuum!

Inhale Exhale Bath Bomb:
Inhale Exhale | R44.50
What Lush has to say about this bath bomb:
Breathe in, breathe out
A brand new Bath Bomb with two sides, each lightly scented with one of our exquisite Gorilla Perfumes. The pink half of this bomb is scented with the light, melon perfume of Inhale, which was inspired by air whistling across nomadic grasslands. Inhale fizzes up quickly, so when you sink into the tub and breathe in, you’ll first pick up on the uplifting fruity notes. The blue Exhale half of this bomb is heavy with amber and sandalwood, inspired by incense burned in Tibetan temples. This second, slow-fizzing half gives you a long-lasting, meditative soak.

Sodium Bicarbonate , Citric Acid , Neroli Oil (Citrus Aurantium amara) , Ylang Ylang Oil (Cananga odorata) , Black Pepper Oil (Piper nigrum) , Sandalwood Oil (Santalum austro-caledonicum vieill and Fusanus spicatus) , Vetivert Oil (Vetiveria zizanoides) , Cedarwood Oil (Cupressus funebris) , Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum) , Grapefruit Oil (Citrus paradisi) , Cade Oil (Juniperus oxycedrus) , Cream of Tartar (Potassium bitartrate) , Cornflour (Zea mays) , Sodium Laureth Sulfate , Lauryl Betaine , Coumarin , Hydroxycitronellal , Methyl Ionone , *Limonene , *Linalool , Fragrance , D&C Red No. 33 , FD&C Blue No. 1 , D&C Red No. 27 , FD&C Red No. 40 , Paper Slip
* Occurs naturally in essential oils

Featured Ingredient:
Neroli Oil (Citrus Aurantium amara)

As you can see the red half is bubbling up really fast compared to the blue half.
What The Jam Jar has to say about this bath bomb:
When I first smelt this bath bomb I was really unsure if I would like it but after reading many reviews about how amazing it is, I couldn't convince myself not to take it (yep, I'm one of "those" kind of shoppers)

Inhale (red half) is a fast fizzer that releases a yummy blend of neroli and rose oils which creates a wonderfully light and fruity scent and the Exhale (blue half) is scented a rich, manly smokey fragrance. The Breath of God fragrance is really over powering in this bath bomb, which I actually liked. It's a different scent compared to the common bath bomb that I usually buy. The scent is very musky and manly.

It was extremely interesting to watch this bath bomb perform in the bath because the Inhale half fizzes really quick while the Exhale half fizzes long and slow.  At first you see this amazing red bursting with bright streams of colour and then once the red half has dissolved, you're left with a slow fizzing blue foamy picture show that really calms your mind while watching it.

This bath bomb is filled with essential oils that helps relax and calm the mind while moisturizing the body. I found this bath bomb extremely relaxing compared to other bath bombs. I think it was mostly the scent that created this relaxing vibe in my bathroom. I was extremely please that this bath bomb didn't dry out my skin. However, I did use Angels Delight soap afterwards so that could have been the moisturizing factor but I highly doubt it because before I used the soap I didn't feel any tightness from this bath bomb so eh, who knows?

I love Lush goodies that has quirky surprises inside. This bath bomb has a special "hand written" note inside, which I thought was so adorable!

Overall, I really enjoyed this bath bomb.

Blue foam.
Blue half still fizzing away.
'Inhale, lay back under the water, listen to your heartbeat, Exhale and relax.'
Would I purchase this again?

Have you tried Inhale Exhale before? What are your thoughts about it?

Until next time..
