Religion & Belief Equality: Acceptance of different Religions = World Peace ☮

Hi everyone,

Today I received a really nasty comment from someone.
I was so upset. I don't feel comfortable sharing this directly with people on my social networks but I will share it with the anonymous people who do find my blog somewhere out there on the interwebs.

There are some really good Christians that I've met and I'm so grateful for them, my campus friends especially. They are an amazing bunch of people. My 2 best friends are actually Christians. They respect my religion and I respect theirs. They don't drink near me, they cater Halaal for me, they would ask my permission to eat or apologise for eating infront of me during the Holy month of Ramadan and for me, those small gestures are really amazing to me.
Bernicia, Curtis, Darian & Heinre.
You guys are amazing.
As I sit here, at 7:58am, with so much rage towards one man and one ignorant comment.
Like I said, there are some really good Christians but then there are some real pricks as well.
It's people like them that causes conflict towards other religions. It's sad and so pathetic.
I respect everyone's religion and I'm glad the people I know respects other religions too.

It all started with a comment made by me on Burger King's Facebook page. I am not afraid to say what I think and I'm always adding my 2c. Sometimes it gets me in trouble, but this, I thought was really ridiculous.
"Build a bridge and get over it. The bacon story is really lame now. Stop being little brats. It's fine if you choose not to eat at BK because there is no bacon, they're still going to make money, anyways.."
Moments later, I received an inbox message....
"Why don't you start eating bacon? Now the rest of us have to suffer because a minority doesnt..."
Honestly, my first reply was a lengthy message filled with various cusses.

But no, I deleted it and tried to brush it off with a simple yet full of attitude reply,
Get over it."
Why are people still going on about this bacon issue?? I don't understand.
Most of the people complaining hasn't even had Burger King before. Why go on for something that has been set in stone already? It's things like this that irritates me.
YES! I KNOW! I get irritated for silly things. I'm working on it, okay?

Thinking that this whole thing is over, I get a reply at 7:11am saying,
"Typical... dismissive... i send you a bacon sandwich for easter. perhaps it's time to change faith"
I was like... Are you serious right now?? Like really??

My reply says half of what I was actually thinking,
"It's pathetic how you bacon lovers are going on.
Maybe you should check your own faith because clearly, you have no idea what your faith is about, old man.
But this is lame and you are arrogant, old and probably incompetent.

Good luck with your bacon issue and the rest of your ignorant life :)
I was not even addressing the bacon issue and then I get this dumbass reply,
"Oh my own faith is cool with bacon... Because it's not what goes into the mouth that defiles u... But rather what is in your heart that defiles u... it's all about focus.. good luck with heaven... U might find out a bit late that you followed the wrong prophet... have bacon luscious day"
The latter of this ignorant prick's reply was what ticked me off...
Attacking someone else's religion is racism. It's an actual crime. And here this idiot makes like it's nothing.
Nevermind the childishness, but attacking someone's religion because you can't deal with a restaurant not having bacon is just pathetic. I feel sorry for this man. I hope he will receive some sort of guidance from God to make him realise how bad his mindset is.

Judging by the way he looks, he seems to be in his late 40s.
Aren't you suppose to be smarter, Mr Pig Lover?
Doesn't your religion / value and morals teach you to respect other people and their beliefs?

People like Mr Pig Lover are one of the reasons why there isn't World peace.
Life would be so much better if people could just accept other peoples religions.
I will never push my religion on a non-Muslim because that is basically attacking their faith.
I would enlighten but never force.

I love my Muslim friends. I love my Christian friends. I love my Hindu friends. Heck! I love my friends who aren't sure what they believe in yet, too. I love and respect them.
Why can't people stop living in the dark ages and accept things?

I'm sorry for this rant. I need to get it off my chest.
Thank you for reading it, though ♡.

Until next time...

Part 1: Did I just.......???

Hi everyone,

Yesterday was such a blur. When I woke up at 6:30am I had no idea that my sister and I will be attending the Justin Bieber BELIEVE tour in Cape Town that night. I really wanted to go because I think Justin Bieber is an excellent performer judging by his live performances on YouTube.

It was a normal day for me. I was still joking in the car on my way to campus about Justin Bieber's concert and how crazy the Beliebers are going to be. I got to campus on this average morning at 8:45am just to get told our lecture has been pushed back to 11:30am. I chilled with my best bud and had a little nap in between while waiting for the lecture to start.

11:30am came I went to class and immediately went on Facebook to check my notifications. I love entering Facebook competitions and yesterday was the day I won my biggest and most memorable thing ever.

Mat and May, a trendy accessories company, had just updated their status saying,
"Anybody want to win a ticket to the Justin Bieber concert in Cape Town tonight? All you have to do is visit our twitter page and tweet your favourite Mat & May accessory to stand a chance to win."
In my head I was like, "HELLS-FREAKING-YEAH". I really wanted to win these tickets because I've been trying since February to win tickets to the concert and with each attempt I failed hopelessly.

I went on Twitter and started tweeting them like my life depended on it!!!
I was VERY persistent...
Twitter Feed :|

Eventually it was 2:00pm... They made things more interesting by tweeting,
"Hey guys, the Justin Bieber deal just got sweeter! The winner will now get 2 tickets to tonight's show in Cape Town. See our twitter page and tweet your favourite Mat & may accessory"
I tweeted and tweeted and tweeted...until.............
I was like, "Did i just win Justin Bieber tickets?????"
I ran out of class to phone my sister and start to make arrangements for the night.
After that everything happened so quickly. It was such a rush.....

Part 2: The Justin Bieber Experience

The Justin Bieber Experience

So my father picked me up at 4:52pm from campus and we got to the stadium at around 5:30pm. It was packed!
It was my 1st stadium concert and I was hella excited!

Field Area - It had its perks.
How did all of this happen?? Just a few hours ago I was at campus, having a normal day and now I'm at a Justin Bieber concert. WTH?? The spirit was there, the fans were all dressed, the atmosphere was amazing.

We went to stand by our area because it was almost 7:00pm and we at least wanted to see the screens and not the back of excited Belieber's heads. We met a few girls that were so sweet. We formed a pack to make sure that no one shoves their way through us to stand infront of us lol. Luckily, the girls we were with were way taller than us and they allowed us to stand infront of them. Sweet, right?

ChianoSky was the first act. I didn't really know most of the songs she sang but she was amazing. She sounded so surreal.

She tweeted the order of the concert.
Exciting, right?

She is so gorgeous with her red hair!

And then it was the amazingly hot twins, Locnville. OhMyWord. They were just on fire on the stage! They totally controlled the crowd! I'm glad they done most of their older songs because I kind of lost interest in them. But they were awesome.

They instagram'd this picture moments after the show.
Follow them on instagram

We waited the longest time for this moment. The clock counted down from 10 and with each 1 that passed the crowd got even crazier. At the 10 second mark, everyone counted down and at 1 the lights went bright, the sound went louder, after a brief intro.......Justin Bieber appeared.
The crowd went insane! I went insane! Justin Bieber was just on point last night! He killed it! He is an amazing performing!

My favourite songs he performed were; All Around The World, Never Say Never, Beauty And A Beat, As Long As You Love Me and Boyfriend.

When he sang Baby everyone was singing along. I'm sure I was holding hands with some stranger while singing Baby, but it was a-ma-ziiiinnngggg, yo!
Justin Bieber performing.

My 1st stadium concert was beyond amazing. It felt surreal. I saw Justin Bieber on stage, live, performing for his Beliebers. *Le sigh* I will never forget yesterday. Each moment was so spectacular, even when I got shoved around by little Beliebers.

Set List:
All Around The World
Take You
Catching Feelings
One Time
Eenie Meenie
Somebody To Love
Love Me Like You Do
She Don't Like The Lights
Die in Your Arms
Out Of Town Girl
Be Alright
Never Say Never
Beauty and a Beat
One Less Lonely Girl
As Long As You Love Me

Here's my Justin Bieber - BELIEVE tour collage:

The concert was spectacular.
No words can really explain how surreal last night was.
I wish I had my DSLR with me :(

Beauty Bulletin Review: Review on Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color in Intense Red Copper 7.64

Hi everyone...

I am happy to announce that I am a red head (with brown roots lol).

I was so grateful to be chosen to do a review on Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color.
Since Garnier is running the "WHY GO UNNOTICED?" campaign, I decided to stick up to their tagline by dyeing my hair a colour that a) I have never tried before and b) that will bring LOTS of attention to me.

I chose Intense Red Copper 7.64. I have dyed my hair several times before, but sticking to the caramel blonde, black and light brown. I have never dyed my hair an outstanding colour before. So I chose to be bold and noticeable, hence the colour.

I was very nervous at first because I did not know what to expect from this product and how my hair would turn out.

Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Colour hair is a permanent, nourishing hair dye that leaves your hair looking ultra vivid, silky, shiny and it's long lasting, which is amazing!

The product's conditioner has Shea Butter with 3 new added oils (Avocado, Olive and Blackcurrant) that helps reduce dryness for up to 8 weeks! It leaves your hair feeling and looking silky and shiny.

The box gives the customer so much information about the product before even reading the leaflet, I think this is awesome because the customer would know what to expect before buying the product.

The colour chart (on the left side of the box) gives the customer knowledge on how the product will take on her/his hair. The colour chart ranges from dark brown to black hair, light brown to brown hair and blonde to dark blonde hair.

Contents of box:
- 1 Applicator bottle of Developer Creme - 60ml
- 1 Nourishing Colour Creme - 40ml
- 1 Bottle of colour nourishing conditioner - 40ml
- Gloves
- Instruction Leaflet

Each product is labelled with a letter indicating when it should be used.
A = Developer Creme
B = Nourishing hair colour
C = Colour nourishing conditioner

- The box doesn't lie. The colour chart is quite accurate.
- The hair dye smells amazing.
- The hair dye is affordable.
- Available almost at every store.
- The mixing process is easy, as well as the dyeing process.
- Conditioner leaves your hair smooth, silky and soft.
- The cut out in the box makes life easier.
- Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color comes in 26 beautiful shades.

- It can damage your hair if you don't take the proper steps to protect your hair.
- DIY hair dyes can usually get a bit messy.
- Once your hair starts growing then your roots will start showing.
- It might not come out how you wanted it to be (E.g. Unevenly dyed hair, spots)

Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
The application is simple, the colour is vibrant and looks amazing, its affordable and I would buy this product again!
It really did an amazing job on my hair.
It wasn't what I expected, it was better!

Check out my video review about this hairdye ☺

Until next time..

Hi everyone,

There are some cons in having uncapped internet. Uncapped basically means sleepless nights of YouTube for me.
